Made this painting two years ago solely with the inspiration of my daughter. I loved it so much and so I turned it into a print. It’s one of the best selling ones and I must credit it to Della. I can’t help but create beautiful things when she is my inspiration. Here are some responses: We have been dealing with the social worker from day one and had only received 2 guest meal tray vouchers in 3 weeks until last night when I was given 2 more. They gave me an application to fill out to get help with a mortgage but that doesn’t help us as we do not have a mortgage. They say they have no funding or other ways to help. We have had our fair share of dealing with patient advocacy and that always goes nowhere. Just a letter in the mail saying they looked into and it doesn’t concern them… I have copies I can share with you when I’m back home and can access them.

We get care conference meetings with like 15 people… Come up with ideas and plans to move forward with and then half of it goes out the window after a couple shift changes. They even had me write on super large paper info to help the nurses but many don’t take the time or have the time to even notice let alone read it. The sad honest truth is that this has been happening to us everywhere. Its a very broken system to begin with and then you get the bad eggs in there who are careless or too big headed to listen to us. There is also a major concern with housekeeping in these hospitals and once you’ve been here for weeks straight you notice and see everything. It is very unsanitary. There’s been a fingerprint on the elevator door button for almost 2 weeks now. Pretty obvious it doesn’t get cleaned. Even the nurses complain about room not properly being cleaned. They come to clean but really only empty trash and sometimes run a mop on some parts of the floor. It is frustrating and scary when you think about ALL germs in this place and knowing your child is at great risk from all it.
