Clearly, no rescue funds were used for vacation and we “get” to go on vacation when we can, just like other people. What grabbed my attention is now upset and just terrible these people are. We have been hounded by this same group of rescuers for months now, as they keep opening fake accounts and firing insults at us from all angles. Rescue is about being compassionate—toanimals and one another—yet many people have lost sight of that. Folks think they have to be mad at the human race—misanthropes of one form or another—in order to be kind to animals. This is flawed logic and clearly negatively effects the animals. Being happy for other people and orgs and carrying that happiness into your work is how animals will benefit. Giving your best version of yourself to them, not the version which attacks other rescues and plays holier than thou. In this ladies honor, I’d like to begin working on a non-profit org which supports non-profit workers by granting the vacations! I think it’s a great idea! 

Most animals are very lovely and very close to humans. Please protect them and live peacefully with each other.
