People commenting that pets aren’t allowed don’t realize most people aren’t following those rules. I work at Disney springs and every single night I have to deal with people bringing pets to Disney Springs. Therapy dogs are not considered service dogs but people throw a vest on any dog nowadays and no one says anything. But then I’m the one who has to clean up when your pets don’t know how to follow service dog rules because they don’t service dogs.

Easily distracted by Disney and dogs

Disney needs to separate an entire wing for pet owners. Kids with allergies, asthma, or any chronic breathing disorder should not be forced to breathe the same air inside the hotel. I’ve owned five dogs and three cats and I’d never exposed others to them if not wanted. Because Disney doesn’t already have a problem with fake service dogs just because they say that the dogs still aren’t allowed in the park, doesn’t mean that these pet owners still won’t try to pass off their pooch as a true SD. By allowing pets at the hotels now, more and more people are going to try to claim their dog is an SD to try and bring it into the park. Not to mention how much more dangerous it will be for legitimate teams staying at these hotels now. This has disaster written all over it

While Disney World is now allowing pets in 4 of their hotels, please remember that pets are not allowed in the actual parks or elsewhere on Disney property! Only working, task trained, service animals are allowed to accompany their handlers in the parks. All of the rules and information pertaining to pets at select Disney hotels can be found on Disney’s website! I hope this is helpful to anyone who was confused by the video! Whether a dog is a service dog or a pet, please remember to ALWAYS ask before petting or interacting with any dog that you do not know!
