If I was to protest anything at my place of employment, no matter how just, needed or right, I would be terminated. While you are working you should be performing your job. All of you players in the NFL and other professional sports are famous enough if you want to bring attention to a cause, all you have to do, is to show up at a police station or a tv station and voice your opinion, and the news will cover it.

While you have the right to protest this way, you are hurting your cause. You are dividing our country and causing great pain to a lot of patriots who will and are tuning you out, they will no longer even listen to you, no matter how noble your cause. People who would otherwise be with you!

If they don’t like what is going on in this country, they should start change within their communities; help build livable dwellings for the needy, work in a food kitchen or bank, work with disadvantaged youth, etc. When they agreed to play football in our country, they agreed to honor that country and all it stands for. The football field IS NOT a place to protest perceived injustices.
