As an OR nurse we always said,” oh no, not a redhead”!! They are more challenging for sure!!! They bleed a lot more than others too!!! Absolutely right about anesthesia and combative when waking up from general anesthesia!!

I was one my whole life, now I dye it because what isn’t grey has gotten darker and darker. So don’t be so quick to judge. I saw a convertible full of redheads fairly recently. They appeared and disappeared like something fantastic and ephemeral in a dream. Wait, I mouthed and mumbled, let me take your picture. I’ve always had red hair. Guess i lucked out because i never got picked on and have always generally liked it. Guess im pretty unique bc i have red hair, blue eyes, and t1d. Love being unique! Did you know: Every year during the first weekend of September, redheads from all around the world flock to the small town of Breda in the Netherlands.

Still lovable though.
